![]() ![]() Enemy AI is decent, but the power level of Warframes and weapons in general makes every enemy feel non-threatening. I find myself permenantly shelving most frames because the abilities are boring or worse than other frames. Some frames and guns are fun, but most are derivative of others or downright benign. Running, jumping and gliding around the map never gets old! And it feels really slick too(Mostly, sometimes you get caught up on geometry)! But thats where the game starts to fall short. The BEST part about the gameplay is the movement system. The animations are numerous and dazzling! The sounds are unique and so fitting! The Locations and areas you run around in are a JOY to explore most of the time, with hidden passages and secret item caches everywhere! Not to mention everything looks stunning! But now we come to the game part. The animations are numerous and dazzling! The sounds are unique and so Beautiful game held up entirely by its Art/Sound/Level Design teams. ![]() … Expandīeautiful game held up entirely by its Art/Sound/Level Design teams. Either way this game should be played only by people with time to spare, lots of things you have to spend time on along with able to get through all the shenanigans that's blown into your face that you need time to figure out and get through. Graphics are pretty good (I don't know if areas will be more creative because I haven't put much time into it and am currently still on Earth). Another thing is the market which is flooded with micro transactions, many things are locked from you and you either purchase them with actual cash or continue scrolling until you find something your interested in: it would be nice if you could categorize them differently by making stuff you can pay with actual money away from items you get for purchasing with in game currency. So one thing I have with the game is the amount of information it pumps right into your face in a matter of seconds, it becomes overwhelming at points with you wondering if you should rush through. Gameplay wise it's basically like Destiny in a 3rd person perspective simply put. So the story is pretty complicated and I only put in a few hours so I maybe wrong: You are a Tenno some sort of being that is able to use ancient technology called Warframes you along with many other Tennos are hunted down as you are the soul being that are capable of stopping a galactic empire who want to use Warframes in order to conquer the galaxy. I don't really know how to judge this game as it is free meaning I don't have anything to judge it price wise, all I can say is it's what I I don't really know how to judge this game as it is free meaning I don't have anything to judge it price wise, all I can say is it's what I imagined Destiny to somewhat be like. All in all, if you want to truly feel like an awesome cyberninja, then Warframe will not disappoint you. (I know y’all kids are gonna say Fortnite did the same thing, but that felt predatory in terms of community because you get trash talked if you don’t have a good skin). Also, the free to play model rarely, if at all gets in the way of the experience, which is a surprising shock to me. Simply the fact that there is no one correct path to go down in progression, really gives a true sense of customization. But doing that would only limit your arsenal, because Warframe rewards you for playing different weapons and Warframes through mastery, where the more mastery you have, the more weapons you can toy around with. In other words, you can go through all progression with a single set. (Except the prime sets, which are basically the original class on crack). One thing about Warframe that seemed strange at first, but later loved so deeply about the mechanics is that no weapon/class is superior to another. ![]() The gameplay works all in the favor of this massive plethora, as because the gameplay feels smooth, responsive, strong, and awesome. ![]() The massive plethora of guns, warframe classes, planets, and missions made it so that you are always pursuing a different goal. While the sheer amount of content found in this game is quite daunting, (and this isn’t helped by the fact that the tutorials don’t help much), once you actually begin to understand the mechanics, there is a stupid amount of content to be found in this game. After the many updates that came to Warframe over the last 4 years, it has ultimately paid off.
