Oliver Bonas describes itself as a British lifestyle store embodying all that it means to be British. If Apple started supporting Gmail push again, I’d be using that exclusively.Founded in 1993, there is a good reason that this store has succeeded for this long. You just get a wall of text if you expand the view of a notification. You can see full emails with full html rendering on the watch BUT they don’t do the same for notifications on the iPhone. You can’t view full emails on the watch and their icons can’t even be added to newer watch faces(Watchos 5.0)Īirmail’s watch complication is very good. I like Spark on the phone, but they have completely neglected their watch complication. You had to go into each individual inbox and it was very sluggish. When it did work in the prior version, it didn’t have a all type inbox. All I get is a blank list of accounts now. Other than Apple mail, Airmail is the only other one with a descent watch complication.Ĭanary’s complication doesn’t even work for me. I’m now back using Airmail because I need something that functions on both my phone and my watch. So I continue to go from app to app, looking for everything I need and never find it. So why don’t I use Apple Mail? Because they don’t support push for Gmail, which is my main email and the Gmail app doesn’t even have a watch complication. But then Spark drops the ball with their watch complication as you can’t view full emails on the watch. Only other app that does full HTML rendering in the notifications(but no scrolling and is a bit slow rendering) is Spark. The biggest problems I have with all these mail apps is all of them have their pluses and minuses and none have everything I like/need.Īpple Mail does notifications very well with full HTML rendering of the email if you touch and hold a notification. Plus their watch complication is not very good either. ![]() It lost its uniqueness and is now, to an extent, a clone of the Apple Mail. The 3.x version is IMO a bit of a letdown to me.
